Lex Imperialis

Liber Initiatus · § VIII · Of Conduct and Censure
Section I

Behavioral Guidelines

The Five Decrees

Five decrees govern the halls. Each carries the penalty its breach invites, from a silencing to banishment, and each binds every brother of every chapter, order, and regiment alike. Ignorance of the law is no defence before it.

Conduct & Honor

Mute | Warn

All who walk the halls of Imperium Nihilus shall do so with respect and discipline.

Honor is absolute. There shall be no tolerance for dishonor: harassment, cruelty, or words steeped in malice are heresies against our unity. Report all transgressions to High Command; judgment is theirs alone to render.

Purity of Content

Mute | Warn

The halls shall remain unsullied. Heretical imagery shall not be tolerated.

Content of a profane or indecent nature is strictly forbidden within this bastion. This includes all forms of explicit, suggestive, or sexually inappropriate material, be it images, messages, or links.

Such corruption has no place among those who serve beyond the Emperor's light.

Doctrine of Dignity

Mute | Warn

All who walk these halls shall do so with the discipline and respect expected of one sworn to the Emperor's service.

While coarse language is permitted, its use must never descend into excess or malice. Harassment, discrimination, and acts of toxicity are forbidden and shall be met with swift censure, for there is no honor in cruelty.

Mercantile Heresy

Mute | Ban

The sanctity of this stronghold shall not be defiled by commercial propaganda and proclamations.

The advertisement of third-party resources or engagement in any form of commercial activity is strictly forbidden unless expressly sanctioned by High Command.

Exploitation of the machine-spirits, manipulation of systems, or the creation of false identities to evade censure shall be met with swift correction.

Authority & Compliance

Warn | Ban

The word of the custodians is law. Obey the decrees and abide by the edicts.

All directives issued by the staff are to be followed without delay or dispute. Their judgment is final: no appeals, debates, or defiance shall be tolerated.

Section II

Disciplinary Actions

Summary & The Halls of Discipline

Summary

Should any brother transgress the tenets of the Lex Imperialis, judgment shall be rendered by High Command. Each infraction shall be weighed upon its own merit, for justice within Imperium Nihilus is measured, not blind. Consequences may range from admonishment to exile, and may include the following:

Words of Correction
Verbal warnings.
Reduction of Standing
Demotion in rank or honor.
Temporary Expulsion
A kick from the halls, with the door left open.
Penitent Silence
Timeouts and isolation from the channels.
Permanent Banishment
An outright ban from the ranks.

Thus is order maintained within the halls, and the unity of the federation preserved.

High Command: The Halls of Discipline

The custodians of Imperium Nihilus, its High Command, bear the solemn charge of investigation and judgment when breaches of conduct arise. They are the keepers of order, ensuring that the spirit of brotherhood remains untainted. Should any brother harbor grievance, witness misconduct, or discern discord within these halls, he shall bring his account directly before them.

When delivering such reports, send your message in private audience to a member of High Command, and include the following details to aid their discernment:

  1. The brother accused of transgression;
  2. Those who bore witness to the act;
  3. The place of occurrence, be it a text channel, voice vox, or other sanctum;
  4. A concise account of the offense as observed.
Bring it to the custodiansDo not try a grievance in the open channels. A report made in private audience is heard in full; a quarrel aired in public is a second breach. Thus shall justice be rendered swiftly and in accordance with the Emperor's will.
Section III

After Action Reports

The Proof of Service

An After Action Report is the record of a match you fought: the end-of-mission screenshots, read by the Cogitator and filed against your name and the name of every brother tagged beside you. It is the chief measure of activity within Imperium Nihilus. A filed report credits Throne Geld, advances your sworn oaths, applies pressure to the crusade front, and marks you as a candidate for advancement. A brother who fights and never files is invisible to the ledger.

Every theatre countsReports are not for Space Marine 2 alone. Each game the federation fights in has its own rite and its own folio.

The full rite, theatre by theatre, lives in its own chapter of the Lexicanum.
