From the Founder
It is hard to explain the “purpose” of a passion project - but I can say where it started. I looked at our community and saw it shrinking rather than growing. Fracturing into smaller and smaller groups - usually over ego and power rather than anything else - that would then start Chapter #991844.11, virtually identical to everything that came before it, except they chose Sycorax Bronze for their trim instead of gold.
I would see hubs appear and chapters join them - but they usually struggled to stay afloat: no content, no real reason to exist, or too much bickering over ego and power.
There is no massive influx of players. There is no surge in numbers. I saw a death spiral.
So what I wanted to create was something where everyone has a hand in it - with the ego and the drama removed from the equation. What I came up with was a gamified experience where you build a community together and grow together.
Roles and ranks are a byproduct - not the goal.
The story, the camaraderie and the gaming are the goal.

Our Goal
Our goal is simple: to build a community of people who love Warhammer 40K gaming in all its forms - from Space Marine 2 to Darktide and every battlefield that comes after. One brotherhood, no matter which game you’re fighting in tonight.
Beyond that, we wanted a place where 40K gamers can gather with like-minded people and play together. We may only officially support a handful of games - but this is meant to be a gathering place.
And we wanted more than another Discord server where the chatter scrolls by and nothing lasts. So we built a home that actually remembers what you do. Here is what that means for you:

Every game you log builds a permanent personal dossier: your battles, your stats, your honours - all in one place. Your effort stops vanishing into scroll history and becomes a record you own.
Standing you earn, not inherit.
Throne Geld, our chapter currency, pays out for playing and contributing. Spend it to climb the ranks, unlock titles, and claim cosmetics. Progression is real and tied to what you actually do. In Nihilus, you get out what you put in.
