Helldivers 2
Ten Tiers
Difficulties
Helldivers 2 runs at one of ten tiers, from Trivial (1) to Super Helldive (10). Geld pays roughly by tier; higher tiers pay more, with bonuses for objective performance.
- Tiers 1 to 3
- Trivial, Easy, Medium. Practice and conditioning.
- Tiers 4 to 6
- Challenging, Hard, Extreme. The chapter's working band.
- Tiers 7 to 9
- Suicide, Impossible, Helldive. For experienced brothers.
- Tier 10
- Super Helldive. The ceiling.
The Translation
Enemy Factions
Set the enemy faction on the form before submitting. The Cogitator translates the in-game name to the chapter's:
- Automatons
- Filed as Necron in the ledger.
- Terminids
- Filed as Tyranid.
- Illuminate
- Filed as Aeldari.
- Mixed
- Used when a mission rolled with more than one faction.
Two Anchors
Required Screenshots

- Objectives Screen: the main and optional objectives list at end-of-mission, with the outcome indicator and performance rating.
- Stats Column: the player roster with kills, damage, and per-player breakdowns.
Two screenshots is the standard rite for Helldivers 2. More are not required.
Beyond Kills
What Is Tracked
- Objective status per objective: completed, failed, skipped. Read from the briefing screen.
- Helldivers extracted: how many of you made it onto the dropship.
- Outposts destroyed, with optional per-size breakdown.
- Mission XP and Requisition earned.
- Per-player stats: kills, damage, by in-game name.
Manual Fields
Optional Overrides
Four fields on the form are manual or overridable:
- Difficulty (Tier)
- Set this yourself; the briefing screen does not always show it.
- Outcome
- Cogitator reads the result, but you may override.
- Operation Name
- Optional; useful for the record. Not always present in OCR.
- Performance Rating
- Zero to five stars. Cogitator detects; you may override.
Common Questions
FAQ
The chapter's ledger is in W40K terms. Translating the Helldivers factions keeps the cross-game stats coherent: a Tyranid kill is a Tyranid kill whether it came from Operations or Helldivers 2.
Set faction to Mixed. The Cogitator records it as a mixed mission and does not credit one specific faction.
File the report; the Cogitator reads outcome and objectives separately. The geld reflects the truth of the mission, not a clean win or clean loss.
They will appear as an unmatched name. Their stats are logged on the AAR but not entered into a brother's ledger. Invite them to the chapter and they can backfill.
Yes. Completing optional objectives raises your performance rating and credits a small geld bonus on top of the tier rate.
